01 - Raymond C. Firestone Farm and Barns

Program is Full
Lauray Farms, the 1,500-acre former estate of the late Raymond C. Firestone, is the focus of this panel discussion about the Firestone barns and how they were used for farming, fox hunting, and the Bath Pony Club. Each of the panelists – Steve Swain, Juerg Schmid, Sandy Taucher Brubaker, David Wyatt, and Sandra Gephart, DVM – knew Mr. and Mrs. Firestone. Their presentation will include stories of their association with the Firestones as farm manager, huntsmen, or pony clubbers. Barn enthusiasts, horse lovers, and history buffs alike will find this program to be fun and interesting!
